The Funeral of George Briffa
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Briffa, who died peacefully whilst surrounded by family on April 13th 2024.
George was our dearly loved Dad, Nannu, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, and he will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Altrincham Crematorium on Friday 10th May 2024 at 1.30pm, with a Reception to follow at the Axe & Cleaver in Dunham Massey.
Family flowers only by request, with donations instead to Parkinsons UK.
We will be wearing the colour blue in our clothing on the day and would invite those joining us to do the same.

Dear Uncle, you are gone, but you will never be forgotten, we are lucky that you were the gifted father of our loving cousins - Anthony and Jeanette. For this I thanked you for given us all the capability of having two great cousins.We may be apart, but your memory will live within me forever especially your smile and warmth love ❤️ towards all your family. The power of love instilled by your mum Jessie and your dad Karmenu who were also our seeds of the Żebbugi family. I am only left with your memories to live with now and your love through both Jeanette and Anthony’s families. No words can express my grief. I pray that God will bring peace and solace to your family. Rest in peace, uncle and if you meet mum, your sister Mary, please kiss her for us as we miss her a lot too.

Uncle George it was a pleasure to have you as an uncle, you were the best. I was always looking forward to having you and your family back in Malta every summer, I will always cherish the great times we had together. Love you and miss you ❤️
